This page explains the basics of depositing collateral, borrowing, LTV, repayments, and what to do if something looks wrong. If you don’t find what you need, use the contact section at the bottom.
A quick checklist to go from zero to first deposit.
Tip: If a transaction is pending, it usually means the network is congested or your gas fee is too low.

Depositing collateral lets you borrow without selling. Your deposit stays yours — but it’s used as collateral while you have an active loan.
Supported assets are shown in the app. (Examples in the MVP copy: WBTC, ETH.)
If yield is available, it’s shown in the app and can change over time.
You can withdraw any collateral that isn’t needed to keep your LTV within safe limits. If you have an active loan, withdrawing too much would increase your LTV.
First check your wallet activity and confirmations. If it shows confirmed but the app isn’t updated, refresh and reconnect your wallet.
Your borrowing power depends on your collateral value and your chosen LTV. LTV can move if collateral prices change or interest accrues.
The app will show your available amount. If liquidity is low, you may be able to borrow less than your theoretical maximum.
LTV = (loan value) ÷ (collateral value). Higher LTV means higher risk.
LTV can change due to price moves and because interest accrues on the borrowed amount.
If your position becomes unsafe, it may be reduced/closed to protect the system. Keep an eye on your in-app health/buffer and add collateral or repay if needed.
Rule of thumb: leave a buffer. Avoid borrowing right up to the max.
Repay anytime to reduce LTV and risk. Repaying decreases your outstanding loan and can unlock withdrawals.
Yes — partial repayments reduce your outstanding loan and improve your LTV.
The app will show what repayment assets are accepted. Some products support repaying with different assets or a mix.
Interest can accrue over time. The app should show the updated total due before you confirm.
Common causes: not enough gas, slippage settings, or a temporary RPC/network issue. Try again with a higher gas fee and ensure you have enough of the repayment asset.
Borrowing carries risk. The safest way to use Valor is to keep LTV conservative and monitor your position when markets move.
No. You interact with a crypto app and on-chain transactions using your wallet.
Keep a healthy LTV buffer, repay during volatility, and don’t deposit funds you can’t afford to lock as collateral.

Most issues are wallet- or network-related. These fixes resolve the majority of cases.
Refresh the page, unlock your wallet, and try again. If you have multiple wallet extensions, disable the extras and retry.
Network congestion or low gas. You can speed up/cancel in your wallet (if supported) and retry with a higher fee.
Check: (1) you have enough collateral deposited, (2) borrowing won’t exceed safe limits, and (3) there’s available liquidity.
If you have an active loan, some collateral may be locked to maintain your LTV. Repay or add collateral to unlock withdrawals.
